Top 3 Singaporean Breakfast You Must Try
When you visit Singapore, You must know that apart from our wide range of local attractions, we are known for our food too! Mr Maxi cab being a fellow foodie, has complied a list of 5 top Singaporean Breakfast that you must try when in Singapore. All of the food listed here are Halal/Kosher
This one one of the top local choices for breakfast. It is definately a must try. Its so good that this has be incorpoared to Lunch and Dinner menus in certain restaurants. Some shops just specialise on selling Nasi Lemak alone and the queue sometimes snakes to about 30 minutes of waiting time. What is Nasi Lemak you may ask? Nasi lemak is a Malay fragrant basmati rice dish cooked in coconut milk. Warm fluffy basmati rice served with sunny side up eggs, fried anchovies and your choice of fried chicken or fish. We are frequent visitors to Selera Rasa Nasi Lemak at Adam Road Food Center.
Thosai or known also as Dosa is a fermented crepe made from rice flour and black lentils. It is a staple dish in South India. Mr Maxi cab’s personal favourite is the Masala Thosai (with potatoes filling). We recommend one of the oldest restaurants in Singapore, the Indian Prime Minister was treated to a meal here by Singapore’s Prime Minister during one of his official visits. Komala Villas .
3) Carrot Cake
This must not be confused with the western version of dessert carrot cake, made with carrot and covered with cream cheese icing. The local version is made from smooth and soft fried rice cakes . This dish well liked by locals. It is served black (fried with sweet dark soya sauce) or white (original) which is made mainly with rice flour. Fish sauce and black sweetened soya sauce are used to marinate the rice cake before it is cut and fried with eggs, oysters and prawns. We like Soon Lee (Bedok Corner) located at Bedok Food Centre (Near Bedok Camp)
#01-02 . Their operating hours are 10.30am til 9.30pm Daily (Closed on Mondays).

Used them 3 times so far, mainly for getting a lift to & from the airport. They are mostly on-time. Only once we have a wait a little bit due to traffic and back to back bookings. Other than that, no issues with Mr Maxi Cab. Will definitely use their services again.
This is an extremely unprofessional company. After making booking, I had to chase repeatedly before reverting with details of driver and car. Worst, the car didn't even turn up on the morning as booked and driver wasn't contactable, leaving me almost missing my flight. And up till then, the company hasn't even bothered to contact me to explain what happen nor apologize. Pls do not even use this service.
My Mates and I hired MrMaxicab Services when we were touring Singapore. Terrific customer service. Muhammad and his team did all they could to accommodate to our requests and we were not disappointed! Ever so polite and punctual. You made yourself a friend! Cheers mate!!
Mr maxicab is the epitome of perfection. From brilliant friendly service to punctuality even when it was a last minute job from me. I can't imagine how amazing his service is for non last min jobs! Well recommended!
I made a last minute booking to the airport, I was pleased with Mr Mohamed patience and he was proactive, taking the initiative to search for the least congested route as i was running late. Well Done!
